Abstract

This is a short summary report by the FSB Chair to G20 Leaders, reflecting on the progress made by jurisdictions and standard-setting bodies in the four years since the Pittsburgh G20 Leaders Summit in 2009, when wide-ranging reforms to global OTC derivatives markets were first agreed.  The report gives a high-level overview of jurisdictional regulatory reform progress as at September 2013, reviews international policy development of standard-setting bodies, and discusses where further work is needed.
